Welcome to Studio 11 Wellness. By accessing this website or booking a retreat or travel experience, you agree to the following terms.
Studio 11 Wellness is a trade name of Nexion Canada, ULC. All travel services sold through Studio 11 Wellness are provided by Nexion Canada, ULC.
1. Services Provided
Studio 11 Wellness provides:
Curated wellness retreats
Group travel experiences
Luxury travel planning services
Travel advisory and booking services
We act as an intermediary between clients and travel suppliers.
2. Booking & Payments
Submitting a reservation request form does not confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed only after availability is accepted by us, the required payment is received, and written confirmation is issued.
Prices are stated in the currency shown on the applicable retreat page or invoice. Deposit percentages and balances are calculated in that stated currency. Your bank or card issuer may apply exchange rates, currency-conversion charges, or other third-party fees.
Local Retreats (British Columbia): A $500 initial deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance may be paid in equal monthly installments or in a lump sum no later than 60 days before the retreat start date. If booking within 60 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required at booking.
International / Destination Retreats: A 10% deposit is required to confirm a booking. A $500 initial deposit is due at booking and is applied toward that 10% deposit. The remaining balance of the 10% deposit is due within 30 days of booking.
After a reservation request is accepted, the guest will receive an invoice based on the payment option selected. If the guest chooses a payment plan, the remaining balance will be invoiced in equal monthly installments according to the retreat timeline. If the guest chooses to pay in full, the remaining balance will be due by the date shown on the invoice.
Some retreats involving cruises, luxury hotels, private villas, internal flights, or other suppliers may require earlier staged or final payments. Where that applies, the earlier supplier deadline shown in the booking documents will control.
Approved payment plans are interest-free and require authorization to charge the payment method on file on the agreed dates. There are no financing charges and no prepayment penalties, but the guest remains responsible for any third-party bank, card, currency-conversion, failed-payment, or reversal fees.
Failure to pay by the due date may result in suspension or cancellation of the booking, release of the guest’s space, and application of the cancellation terms in effect on the date payment was due.
All pricing is subject to availability and supplier confirmation.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective on the date we receive them.
Cancellation amounts are calculated on the total retreat price, not only on amounts already paid.
Local Retreats:
within any applicable grace period, amounts paid are refundable in full;
more than 60 days before start, the $500 initial deposit is non-refundable and amounts paid above $500 are refundable;
60 to 31 days before start, 50% of the total retreat price is non-refundable;
30 to 15 days before start, 75% of the total retreat price is non-refundable;
14 days or less before start, or non-attendance, 100% of the total retreat price is non-refundable.
International / Destination Retreats:
the $500 initial deposit remains refundable until 30 days after booking;
if the booking remains active after that 30-day period, the $500 initial deposit becomes non-refundable;
more than 181 days before start, the $500 initial deposit is non-refundable and amounts paid above $500 are refundable;
180 to 121 days before start, 50% of the total retreat price is non-refundable;
120 to 91 days before start, 75% of the total retreat price is non-refundable;
90 days or less before start, or non-attendance, 100% of the total retreat price is non-refundable.
If the remaining portion of the required International / Destination deposit is not paid within 30 days of booking, we may cancel the booking, release the space, and apply the policy above.
If your retreat page, booking confirmation, or supplier terms require earlier or higher non-refundable amounts for accommodation, cruises, villas, internal flights, or experiences, those supplier-imposed amounts will apply from the date they are incurred and disclosed in writing.
If your cancellation causes supplier attrition penalties, loss of contracted group rates, or single-occupancy surcharges for another traveler, the resulting unrecoverable amount may be deducted from any refund and/or charged to the payment method on file where permitted by law and your booking agreement.
Any approved refund will be returned to the original payment method unless the guest requests a credit in writing and we agree.
No refund or credit will be provided for unused portions of a retreat, including late arrival, early departure, or removal for breach of the participant code of conduct.
If we cancel a retreat for reasons within our control before it begins, the guest may choose either a refund of amounts paid to us for the retreat or a credit in the same amount toward a future retreat.
If a retreat is cancelled or materially changed due to force majeure, government action, supplier failure, or other events beyond our reasonable control, our liability is limited to the amounts we recover from suppliers plus any amounts we hold that have not yet been irrevocably committed, unless a greater refund is required by applicable law.
If a guest believes a charge was processed in error, the guest must notify us in writing promptly so we can investigate. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights required by applicable law. If a chargeback is initiated on a properly disclosed charge, we may provide the card issuer with the accepted booking terms, invoices, payment records, and supplier records in response.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, interruption, medical coverage, and emergency evacuation where appropriate. Certain international retreats may require proof of travel insurance before departure. Studio 11 Wellness / Nexion Canada, ULC is not responsible for losses resulting from failure to obtain adequate insurance.
5. Assumption of Risk
Participation in retreats and travel experiences involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:
Physical activity risks
International travel risks
Weather events
Transportation delays
By booking, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
6. Limitation of Liability
Studio 11 Wellness / Nexion Canada, ULC acts as an intermediary for independent travel suppliers, including hotels, cruise lines, airlines, destination partners, transportation providers, and tour operators.
We are not responsible for:
Acts or omissions of suppliers
Injury, loss, delay, or damage
Changes in itineraries beyond our control
Liability is limited to the amount paid directly to Studio 11 Wellness for services.
7. Health & Participation
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to participate in retreat activities.
You agree to inform us of any relevant medical conditions prior to travel.
8. Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, transportation, included experiences, rooming arrangements, and payment deadlines where necessary due to weather, supplier changes, safety considerations, minimum-group requirements, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances. Where a change materially affects a confirmed booking, we will communicate the revised details in writing as soon as reasonably practicable.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials are the property of Studio 11 Wellness and may not be reproduced without written consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
